उत्तर प्रदेश में चौथे चरण के लिए नामांकन शुरू
उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव के चौथे चरण की अधिसूचना जारी होने के साथ ही आज (27 जनवरी) नामांकन दाखिल करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। प्रदेश में सात चरणों में 10 फरवरी से 7 मार्च तक मतदान कराया जाएगा। चौथे चरण के चुनाव में नौ जिलों की 16 सुरक्षित सीट सहित कुल 59 निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में 23 फरवरी को वोट डाले जाएंगे। चुनाव के चौथे चरण के लिए 3 फरवरी तक नामांकन भरे जा सकेंगे और पर्चों की जांच का काम चार फरवरी को किया जाएगा। सात फरवरी तक उम्मीदवार अपना नाम वापस ले सकते हैं। मतगणना दस मार्च को होगी।

समाचार पत्रों ने आज अलग-अलग समाचार को महत्व दिया है। टाटा समूह को मिला एयर इंडिया का स्वामित्व, राष्ट्रीय सहारा में है। जनसत्ता की सुर्खी है- 69 साल बाद टाटा फिर से हुआ आसमां का महाराजा। दैनिक भास्कर ने पहला ऐलान शीर्षक से लिखा है- एयर इंडिया की उडानों में उन्नत भोजन सेवा मिलेगी। हवाई यात्रियों का महाराजा युग शुरू। सस्ते किराए में भी ज्यादा सहूलियते देंगी कम्पनियां।
राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में कोविड के मामलों में कमी को देखते हुए सप्ताहंत कर्फ्यू हटाने के दिल्ली आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण के फैसले को हिन्दुस्तान ने राहत देते हुए लिखा है- वीकेंड कर्फ्यू और बाजा़रों में सम-विषम समाप्त। हालांकि, अख़बारों ने कोविड नियमों के कडाई से पालन करने की बात भी कहीं है। नवभारत टाइम्स की सुर्खी है- ऐहतियात बरतते हुए कैसे शुरू हो स्कूलों में पढाई, केन्द्र इस बात पर विचार कर रहा है।
औषधि नियामक प्राधिकरण का यह निर्णय कि कोविशील्ड और कोवैक्सीन को बाजार में सशर्त स्वीकृति दी गई है, राजस्थान पत्रिका सहित सभी समाचार पत्रों में है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी द्वारा मध्य एशियाई देशों के साथ आपसी सहयोग को क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा और समृद्धि के लिए अनिवार्य बताने को लोकसत्य ने प्रमुखता से देते हुए उनके इस बयान को भी दिया है कि भारत, मध्य एशिया कनेक्टिीविटी को मजबूत बनाएं।

As the Covid cases are plateauing "Delhi lifts Covid curbs on markets; Cinemas, eateries can run at 50 percent" reports The Pioneer. The paper adds "Night curfew to continue, call on reopening schools in next meeting." "As a homage to freedom fighters and to instill Deshbhakti "115 feet high Tricolours come up at 75 spots" in the national capital, writes ToI.
Finally, The Hindu mentions about the Captain of India's 1964 Tokyo Olympics gold medal-winning hockey team passing away at the age of 92 under the headline "Hockey legend Charanjit Singh passes away."
Nominations for 4th elections in UP begun
The process of filing of nominations for the 4th Phase of Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh has begun with the issuance of notification today. Nominations can be filed till 3 February and scrutiny will be undertaken on 4 February. The last date for withdrawal of candidature will be 7 February.The 4th Phase of polling in UP will be held on 23 February in 59 Assembly Constituencies spread over nine districts including 16 ACs reserved for the Scheduled Castes. Today (27 January) was the last day of withdrawal of candidature for the 1st Phase of Assembly Elections in the state. In this phase, 58 Assembly Constituencies including nine reserved for the Scheduled Castes will go to polls on 10th February. These constituencies are from 11 districts of Shamali, Meerut, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Agra, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Mathura.
2nd Phase polling in UP on 14th February
The Second Phase of polling in UP will be conducted on 14th February in 55 Assembly Constituencies from nine districts. In addition, Single-Phase polling in the two states of Goa and Uttarakhand will be held simultaneously. Forty seats in Goa and 70 seats in Uttarakhand will go to polls together in this phase. For this phase, nominations can be filed till tomorrow and scrutiny will be undertaken on 29th January. Last date for withdrawal of name will be 31 January.
Counting of votes will be taken up together on 10 March.
In view of the prevailing Covid pandemic the Election Commission has banned physical rallies and road shows till 31st of this month. Political parties have been advised to conduct their campaign through digital mode as much as possible.
Meanwhile, the electoral campaign has picked up momentum for the first two phases and Star Campaigners and prominent leaders of various political parties are busy in door to door canvassing as well as virtual appeals to the voters.

Present day politicians stoop to any level to gain political power. Here Bharat was becoming the crown prince without even asking for it ! He could have become the emperor of Ayodhya but he rejected the throne despite being capable of it.
