हरियाणा विधानसभा ने धर्मांतरण-रोधी विधेयक पारित कर दिया है। यह विधयेक 4 मार्च को राज्य विधानसभा में प्रस्तुत किया गया था और इस पर कल चर्चा हुई। "हरियाणा गैर कानूनी धर्मांतरण रोकथाम विधेयक-2022" में जबरन धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए 5 साल तक की कैद और एक लाख रुपये या उससे अधिक के जुर्माने का प्रावधान है।
विधेयक के अनुसार, अगर कोई व्यक्ति एक नाबालिग, एक महिला या अनुसूचित जाति या अनुसूचित जनजाति के व्यक्ति का धर्म परिवर्तन करता है या करने का प्रयास करता है, तो उसे कम से कम चार साल कैद की सज़ा भुगतनी होगी जिसे 10 साल तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है, और उसपर कम से कम 3 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना होगा। हिमाचल प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश सहित कई भाजपा शासित राज्य पहले ही धर्मांतरण रोधी विधेयक पारित कर चुके हैं।
माल्या, नीरव मोदी और मेहुल चोकसी की संपत्ति
भगोड़े कारोबारी विजय माल्या, नीरव मोदी और मेहुल चोकसी की अब तक 19 हजार 100 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य से अधिक की संपत्ति ज़ब्त की जा चुकी है। वित्त राज्य मंत्री पंकज चौधरी ने कल (22 मार्च) राज्यसभा में कहा गया, कि कुर्क कुल संपत्ति में से 15,113 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य से अधिक की संपत्ति सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों को लौटा दी गई है। इसके अलावा ज़ब्त की गई 335 करोड़ से अधिक की संपत्ति केंद्र सरकार के पास है। उन्होंने कहा, तीनों भगोड़ों ने सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों को अपनी कंपनियों के माध्यम से धन की हेराफेरी करके धोखा दिया जिसके कारण ऋणदाताओं को 22,585 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का नुकसान हुआ है।
पंजाब में आज राजकीय अवकाश
पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भगत सिंह के शहीदी दिवस 23 मार्च को राजकीय अवकाश घोषित किया है। उन्होंने मंगलवार को पंजाब विधानसभा में यह घोषणा की। सदन ने विधानसभा में भगत सिंह, डॉ. बीआर आंबेडकर और पहले सिख शासक महाराजा रणजीत सिंह की प्रतिमाएं लगाने का प्रस्ताव भी पारित किया।
विधानसभा सत्र के समापन दिवस पर मान ने भगत सिंह के शहीदी दिवस पर राज्य में अवकाश घोषित करने का प्रस्ताव दिया। इस पर कांग्रेस विधायक अमरिंदर सिंह राजा वारिंग ने कहा, कि अवकाश घोषित करने के बजाय यह अच्छा होगा अगर स्कूल, कॉलेज में छात्रों और कर्मचारियों को भगत सिंह के जीवन और बलिदान के बारे में बताया जाए।
- सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कहा- देश का सड़क नेटवर्क 2024 तक अमरीका के बराबर हो जाएगा।

पश्चिम बंगाल में फिर हिंसा आज समाचार पत्रों की सुर्खियों में है। नवभारत टाइम्स ने लिखा है- गृह मंत्रालय कि टीम घटना स्थल का दौरा करेगी। संसद में परिवहन मंत्री ने बताया देश का रोडमैप। ग्रीन हाइवे और विभिन्न शहरों की आपसी दूरियों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। उत्तराखंड में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की लगातार दूसरी बार बन रही सरकार के शपथ ग्रहण कार्यक्रम को भी समाचार पत्रों ने प्रमुखता दी है।
पेट्रोल और डीजल के दामों में बढोतरी भी लगभग सभी अखबारों के पहले पन्ने पर है। हिन्दुस्तान ने लिखा है- संसद में विपक्ष ने उठाये सवाल। हिन्दुस्तान ने विशेष शीर्षक से आलेख दिया है- लोकसभा में पेश किए जाने वाले विधेयकों पर ऐप के जरिए जनता भी अपनी राय रख सकेगी। इसके लिए लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ने पहल की। लोकसभा मेम्बर्स एैप में नया फीचर जोड़ने की तैयारी।

मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले में ईडी अब महाराष्ट्र सीएम उद्धव ठाकरे के परिवार तक पहुंचती दिख रही है। मंगलवार को ईडी ने सीएम ठाकरे के साले श्रीधर पाटनकर से जुड़ी कंपनी पर छापा मारा है। छापे में 6.45 करोड़ की संपत्ति सीज की गई है।
ईडी के अधिकारियों ने मंगलवार को जानकारी देते हुए कहा, श्रीधर पाटनकर की करोड़ों की संपत्ति सीज की गई है। जिसमें 11 फ्लैट सम्मिलित हैं। छापे के बाद आगे की कार्रवाई जारी है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, श्री साईं बाबा गृहिणी समिति प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के मुंबई के पास ठाणे में स्थित नीलांबरी परियोजना में 11 आवासीय फ्लैटों को “सीज” करने के लिए एक अस्थायी आदेश जारी किया है। किसी संपत्ति को सीज करने का अर्थ है कि इसे स्थानांतरित, परिवर्तित या स्थानांतरित नहीं किया जा सकता है।

The intellectual community of Bengal on Wednesday raised their voice against the Dadri killing and sought an active intervention of President Pranab Mukherjee in protecting the basic freedom of all Indian citizens without discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, class or gender. "We appeal to you to take firm and immediate steps to combat this well-planned conspiracy to endanger Indian democracy," renowned writer Nabaneeta Dev Sen and 93 other prominent intellectuals said in a letter to Mukherjee on Wednesday.
Important among these intellectuals are former Jadavpur University vice-chancellor Pabitra Sarkar, painter Wasim Kapoor, poets Sankha Ghosh and Nirendra Nath Chakraborty and economists Ashok Mitra and Amiya Bagchi.
On Tuesday night, another Bengal poet Mandakranta Sen had announced to return the Akademi award as a mark of protest against the Dadri incident and attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni by Shiv Sena activists. Sen had got the Sahitya Akademi award as a mark of protest against the Dadri incident and attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni by Shiv Sena activists. Sen had got the Sahitya Akademi young writers' special award in 2004. "I am shocked to see the government's approach towards the culprits involved in the Dadri incident. I also want to raise my voice against the attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni. As a mark of protest against such incidents, I have decided to return the Sahitya Akademi award which I got in 2004 when Manmohan Singh ," Sen told ET on Wednesday.
Dev Sen and 93 other intellectuals too expressed their displeasure over the recent incidents. In a letter to the President, they said, "As citizens of a democratic country, we are deeply concerned about the growing culture of murderous intolerance and the brazen assault on the fundamental right to life of those who maintain the core values of diversity, plu rality and tolerance of which you yourself have recently reminded us." "The targeting of innocents like the recent killing of Muhammad Akhlaq in Dadri and the series of attacks against rationalists and freethinkers including the gruesomely casual killing of Narendra Dhabolkar, Govind Pansare and M.M.Kalburgi, has made us strangers in our own country. We are horrified at the callous lack of support and apathy of the state in finding and bringing the culprits to justice. The stifling atmosphere of fear and uncertainty is fatal to the freedom of expression that is at the heart of our shared lives, and it is for the restoration of this common fabric that we urge you to intervene," the intellectuals said in their letter to the President.
