पेट्रोल की कीमत 9.50 रु, डीजल की 7 रुपए प्रति लीटर आज से कम

पेट्रोल-डीजल पर लोगों को मोदी सरकार ने बड़ी राहत दी है। पेट्रोल की कीमत 9 रुपए 50 पैसे प्रति लीटर और डीजल की कीमत 7 रुपए प्रति लीटर आज (22 मई) कम हो गई है। केंद्र सरकार ने कल पेट्रोल पर उत्पाद शुल्क में 8 रु प्रति लीटर और डीजल पर 6 रु प्रति लीटर की कटौती की घोषणा की थी। वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन ने कई ट्वीट कर (21 मई) को इसकी जानकारी दी। 

वित्तमंत्री ने आम लोगों को राहत पहुंचाने के लिए विशेषकर उन राज्यों से पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमत में कटौती की अपील की है, जिन्होंने पिछले वर्ष नवंबर में पेट्रोल और डीजल के दाम कम नहीं किए थे। उन्होंने कहा-  

"...सरकार प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना के अंतर्गत नौ करोड़ से अधिक लाभार्थियों को प्रति वर्ष 12 सिलेंडर तक प्रति सिलेंडर 200 रुपये सब्सिडी देगी। इससे सरकारी राजस्‍व में प्रति वर्ष 61 अरब रुपये की कमी आयेगी...। सरकार प्लास्टिक, लौह और इस्पात उत्पादों के लिए कच्चे माल और अन्य सामग्री पर भी उत्पाद शुल्क में कमी करेगी, ताकि इन उत्पादों की लागत कम हो। कुछ स्टील उत्पादों पर निर्यात शुल्क लगाया जाएगा। इसका उद्देश्य सीमेंट की उपलब्धता बढ़ाना और लागत कम करना है।"

"...कोविड और यूक्रेन संघर्ष के कारण आपूर्ति श्रृंखला में व्यवधान उत्पन्न हुआ है और कई वस्तुओं की उपलब्धता कम हुई है। इससे कई देशों में महंगाई और आर्थिक संकट में वृद्धि हुई है, लेकिन विपरीत आर्थिक परिस्थिति के बावजूद नरेन्द्र मोदी सरकार आवश्यक वस्तुओं की कीमतों को नियंत्रण में रखने के प्रति वचनबद्ध है...। गरीबों के कल्याण के प्रति समर्पित होने के कारण ही सरकार ने गरीबों और मध्य वर्ग के कल्याण के लिए कई उपाय किए हैं। इन कदमों के कारण ही पिछली सरकारों के मुकाबले मौजूदा सरकार में औसत महंगाई कम रही है।"

"...कुछ विकसित देशों में भी आवश्यक वस्तुओं की कमी हुई है और आपूर्ति श्रृंखला बाधित हुई है, लेकिन मोदी सरकार में आवश्यक वस्तुओं की उपलब्धता में कोई कमी नहीं हुई है। कोरोना काल में राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन-एनडीए सरकार ने खासकर प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना के अंतर्गत कल्याण के उच्च मानदंड कायम किए हैं, जिसे पूरी दुनिया ने स्वीकार किया है...। दुनियाभर में उर्वरक की कीमतें बढ़ रही हैं, लेकिन भारत में सरकार ने किसानों के हित में इसकी कीमत नहीं बढ़ने दी है। उर्वरक पर एक लाख 5,000 करोड़ रु की सब्सिडी के अलावा सरकार ने किसानों के कल्याण के लिए बजट में एक लाख 10,000 करोड़ रु का अतिरिक्त प्रावधान किया है।"

सुश्री सीतारामन ने कहा, प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने सभी सरकारी विभागों से कहा है कि वे संजीदा होकर काम करें और आम आदमी को राहत पहुंचाएं।

एक्साइज ड्यूटी में कटौती के बाद आज (22 मई) राजधानी दिल्ली में एक लीटर पेट्रोल 96.72 रु और डीजल 89.62 रु हो गई है। एक्साइज वहीं, मुंबई में पेट्रोल 111.35 और डीजल 97.28 रु प्रति लीटर हो गया है। पहले दिल्ली में पहले पेट्रोल 105.41 रुपये लीटर मिल रहा था।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि वित्तीय फैसलों विशेष रूप से पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में कमी किए जाने के निर्णय का विभिन्न क्षेत्रों पर सकारात्मक असर पड़ेगा। उन्होंने एक ट्वीट में कहा- इससे नागरिकों को राहत मिलेगी और उनका जीवन आसान होगा। 

प्रधानमंत्री उज्जवला योजना के लाभार्थियों को प्रति सिलेंडर 200 रु. की सब्सिडी दिए जाने की घोषणा पर प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा- उज्जवला सब्सिडी के फैसले से परिवार बजट में बहुत आसानी होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि उज्जवला योजना से करोड़ों नागरिकों विशेष रूप से महिलाओं को काफी मदद मिली है।

वैश्विक चुनौती के बावजूद आम जनता को राहत : शाह 
गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि वैश्विक चुनौती के बावजूद प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केन्द्र सरकार ने आम जनता को राहत दी है। श्री शाह ने एक ट्वीट में कहा कि इसी तरह के कदम अन्य क्षेत्रों के लिए भी उठाए गए हैं जिससे उत्पादों की कीमतों में कमी आएगी।

भाजपा अध्यक्ष जगत प्रकाश नड्डा ने मांग की है कि विपक्ष शासित राज्यों को भी पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में कमी करनी चाहिए।

वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि यह कटौती, कीमतें कम करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। 

अखिल भारतीय व्यापार संघ ने सरकार के इस निर्णय का स्वागत किया है। संघ के महासचिव प्रवीण खंडेलवाल ने कहा-
"इससे परिवहन लागत में कमी आएगी। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा डीजल और पेट्रोल की कीमतों में कमी की गई है वो वास्तव में बहु-प्रतिक्षित कदम था और निश्चित रूप से इस निर्णय से जो महंगाई तेजी से बढ़ रही थी उस पर काबू पाया जा सकेगा। और ये कहने में कोई भी संकोच नहीं है कि क्योंकि अब डीजल और पेट्रोल की प्राइसेज कम हो गई है, तो जो ट्रांसपोर्ट की कॉस्ट है, वो भी निश्चित रूप से कम होगी, जिसके कारण से वस्तुओं के जो कीमतें हैं वो अब कम होनी चाहिए उसका पूरा फायदा देश के उपभोक्ताओँ को मिलना चाहिए।

The Union Government has reduced the Central excise duty on Petrol by eight rupees per litre and on Diesel by six rupees per litre. This will reduce the price of petrol by nine rupees 50 paise per litre and of Diesel by seven rupees per litre. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced this in a series of tweets yesterday.

The Minister said- "...it will have revenue implications of around 1 lakh crore rupees per year for the Government. She exhorted all State governments, especially the States where reduction was not done during the last round in November last year, to also implement a similar cut and give relief to the common man... This year, the Government will give a subsidy of 200 rupees per gas cylinder upto 12 cylinders to over 9 crore beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. This will have a revenue implication of around 6100 crore rupees a year.

"...The Government is also reducing the customs duty on raw materials and intermediaries for plastic products where the country's import dependence is high. This will result in reduction of cost of final products... Customs duty is being calibrated on raw materials and intermediaries for iron and steel to reduce their prices. Import duty on some raw materials of steel will be reduced..."

"Export duty on some steel products will be levied. She said, measures are being taken to improve the availability of Cement and through better logistics to reduce the cost of cement... The world is passing through difficult times due to Covid and the Ukraine conflict has brought in supply chain problems and shortages of various goods. This has resulted in inflation and economic distress in a lot of countries. But despite the adverse economic conditions, Narendra Modi Government is committed to ensure that prices of essential items are kept under control.

PM Narendra Modi has said that financial decisions, especially the one relating to a significant drop in petrol and diesel prices will positively impact various sectors. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, it will provide relief to our citizens and further ‘Ease of Living. On the announcement of providing a subsidy of 200 rupees per gas cylinder to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the Prime Minister said, the decision on Ujjwala subsidy will greatly ease family budgets. He said, Ujjwala Yojana has helped crores of Indians, especially women. It is always people first for the Government, added Mr. Modi.

Modi Govt provided a huge relief to the common people
Home Minister Amit Shah has said that even in this challenging global situation, the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided a huge relief to the common people. In a tweet, Mr Shah said, many such steps have also been taken for other sectors, which will bring down the price of products.

BJP President J P Nadda has lauded the Government's decision to slash the excise duty on petrol and diesel. He said, it shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to the welfare of the common man. Mr. Nadda has demanded that the Opposition ruled States should also reduce petrol and diesel rates so that common people can get some more relief amid inflation.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said, the Central excise duty cut on Petrol and Diesel is a major step towards easing prices. He said, gas cylinder subsidy to over nine crore Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries will bring a smile on the faces of our mothers and sisters.

Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has welcomed the Central Government's decision of reducing the prices of petrol and diesel. CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said, with the reduction in fuel prices the transportation cost will come down and the manufacturers should also cut the prices of various commodities.

Reduction of Central Excise Duty on Petrol & Diesel. Central excise duty has been reduced by Rs 8 per litre for Petrol and by ₹ 6 per litre for Diesel (by reducing Road & Infrastructure Cess).
